Asheville – Help Asheville Habitat build homes by selling your “previously loved but no longer wanted” jewelry, gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones, coins, flatware, and collectibles.
How?
Bring your unwanted items to be appraised at the Grant Laughter Jewelry Buy-Back Event on Tuesday, March 23. Appraisal appointments are completely free and there is no obligation to sell. You will receive an immediate offer to purchase and payment. Should you choose to sell, you will have the option to make a donation of part or all of the proceeds to Asheville Habitat. Personal appointments, following Covid safety protocols, can be scheduled by visiting: https://calendly.com/grantljewelry/habitat-for-humanity-jewelry-buying-event or by calling 828-274-5770.
What?
All jewelry will be evaluated, from Timex watches to Rolex and Cartier, from scrap gold broken chains to designer jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces. “Oftentimes people assume their old gold broken chain is worthless when in actuality it’s worth thousands,” shared Grant Laughter. No jewelry will be turned away at this event, so bring in what you’ve got, including costume jewelry. Additionally, old coins from a safety deposit box, diamonds, silver and gold bullion, tableware and flatware can also be evaluated.
Why?
More than ever, affordable housing is needed in our community and Asheville Habitat has been building new affordable homes and repairing existing ones for nearly four decades. Should you choose to sell, select to donate a portion of the proceeds to Asheville Habitat and you will help more local families in need of stable, affordable housing.
