To begin the second half of the game, Erwin QB Korey Griffin handed the ball off to #24, who ran to secure a touchdown. Er- win then had a two-point at- tempt, which #2 caught. The score was then 7-21, Erwin.

NB’s Joe Jones caught Erwin off guard. Instead of punting, Jones ran the ball on the fourth down to the 18-yard line. This fueled a first down and helped the North Buncombe offense.

Jones, an outstanding NB player of the game, then secured his second touchdown of the game. Erwin reciprocated with another touchdown.

Jones then caught another touchdown for NB after completing a pass from Walker Corbin. Caleb Lominac then secured a two-point conversion. But the two extra points for NB were not enough to catch up to Erwin’s stellar offense. The game concluded 21- 35, Erwin.
