Weaverville – The Weaverville Business Association and Art in Autumn Committee are seeking artist exhibitor applications for the 14th annual Weaverville Art In Autumn Festival. The festival will take place on Main St., Weaverville, NC on September 18th, 2021, 10 am – 6 pm.
Artists will be juried to receive awards of $1000 for best of show, $500 for second place and $300 for third, as well as four $50 honorable mentions. This year’s judge is Justin Rabuck, organizer of Asheville’s renowned crafts bazaar, ‘The Big Crafty’, and co-owner of Horse and Hero, a downtown Asheville gallery showcase for boundary-pushing arts and craft.
Art in Autumn is presented by the Weaverville Business Association and the Town of Weaverville. This well-established show is considered one of the premier fine art and craft shows in the southeast, with a large fan base and consistently high attendance rates. The 114 artists hosted at the show will be greeted by a proactive team of volunteers to assist with load-in and break down, booth sitting and other assistance.
Applications are now being accepted via www.zapplication.org through June 20th, 2021.
