Weaverville – After its cancellation in 2020, due to the pandemic, the Town of Weaverville’s iconic celebration of America’s 245th birthday was back on Main Street this year. Hundreds filled the downtown area of Weaverville and took up positions on Main Street to watch fireworks and commemorate the 4th of July. While waiting, attendees enjoyed the soulful sounds of Leeda Lyric Jones and enjoyed the food and drink from nearby restaurants. The event lasted from 7:30 pm until fireworks ended the night for celebrators. The Tribune is happy to bring you these pictures from the event.
