Woodfin – Woodfin Detective Chris Morrow completed the NC Justice Academy Criminal Investigations Certificate program. “I want to bestow my pride in him for completing this program,” said Woodfin Police Chief Michael Dykes of Morrow. “The CICP certificate is not an easy course as it includes over 400 hours of training which includes mandatory classes such as interview and interrogation, basic criminal investigation and then he still has to have another 280 hours of additional training.” Dykes said Morrow worked and this is the type of training that the department expects of a professional officer to obtain.
