The art of storytelling will be on display when the Weaverville Center for Creative and Healthy Living presents “Cultural Exploration: A Celebration Through Story” on Friday, August 19th at 7 pm at the Weaverville Community Center. The event will feature Ray Christian, Becky Stone, Jim McDowell, and Wallace Bohanan. A quarter of storytellers includes a paratrooper, an actor, a potter, and a counselor. Join these four talented Western North Carolinians as they delve into individual American experiences using the power of personal, historical, and folk stories. The event is free to the public, with a tip jar available.
