Weaverville – It’s a “Spring Thing” at the Friends of the Weaverville Library Used Book Store – Saturday, April 15th, 10:30-4:30. Spring Storytime for kids of all ages with songs, stories, and crafts with Miss Jill 11 pm; Pysanky (Ukrainian decorated eggs) talk and demonstration 1 pm; Worms! To keep your soil and garden healthy (hands-on!) with John Bowen from the Extension Master Gardener program 3 pm. All day long, they’ll have Master Gardeners on hand to answer all your questions about plants, gardens, and landscaping. Stop in and play our scavenger hunt, check out the seed library, win a prize or get some great used books at deep discounts. It’s a day of fun celebrating all things Spring.
