Sneak Preview Of Upcoming Show

Weaverville – Recently, Weaverville residents were treated to a captivating preview of “At the Café,” an extraordinary musical written by Marcy Gallagher with music composed by Sarah Kohrs. The exclusive sneak peek took place at the Weaverville Center for Creative and Healthy Living, situated at the Weaverville Community Center, on Sunday, July 9th.

The evening commenced with an introduction by Blaine Greenfield, who also conducted an engaging interview with Marcy Gallagher, the exceptionally talented playwright. The group was privileged to have Janice Vertucci-Schreiber as the director, bringing her unique creative vision to life.

The cast of “At the Café” consists of a remarkable ensemble of performers. Karen Covington-Yow shines in the role of Sandra, while Roberta Whiteside captures the essence of Lorraine. Madison Brightweek portrays Nancy with finesse, and Jan Robbins enthralls as Molly. Together, they create an unforgettable experience, delivering spellbinding performances.

Under the musical direction of Dave Bates, the preview showcased a selection of enchanting musical numbers that transport the audience deep into the heart of the story.
