Asheville – Players from all over the Southern Region brought their talents for another weekend of USTA matches at ARC South. It was the second weekend of Banana Open tournaments, for juniors and adults. The Men’s and Women’s Adult Singles were played this past weekend, while next weekend is the Adult Doubles division. Over 125 players played in this weekend’s event, with over 200 expected for the doubles events. Althought there was rain this past weekend, the indoor courts allowed all the scheduled matches to play each day.
