United States – By the time you read this, the 60th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy will have already passed. November 22nd marked the infamous anniversary when the nation and the world took a collective pause as they heard of his untimely death.

Probably no other single event in American history has been so written about, movies and documentaries made about, and conspiracies contrived about than this heinous act.

On November 22nd, 1963, while in Dallas, Texas, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The president was riding in a motorcade through Dealey Plaza when shots rang out, fatally striking him. The shocking event sent waves of disbelief and mourning across the United States and the world.

Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested for the assassination but was himself killed just days later, leaving many questions unanswered and fueling the conspiracies. President Kennedy’s death marked a profound loss for the nation, leaving an indelible mark on American history and sparking ongoing speculation and debate surrounding the circumstances of his assassination.

Classified documents and files about the assassination still have not been released to the public 60 years later, which continues to fuel speculation and conspiracy theories. Everything from the Russians to the mob, to the CIA, to the Cubans has been accused of planning the killing.

Numerous alternative theories have surfaced, questioning the narrative presented by the Warren Commission Report. The most popular is the theory suggesting Oswald didn’t act alone, fueling speculations of a broader conspiracy involving multiple individuals or organizations.

Furthermore, the grassyknoll theory, derived from witness testimonies and ballistic analyses, challenges the lone gunman theory by suggesting the presence of a second shooter positioned on the grassy area near Dealey Plaza. The lack of clarity surrounding the “magic bullet” theory, which posits that a single bullet caused multiple wounds to both Kennedy and Texas Governor John Connally, adds complexity to the narrative.
Despite numerous investigations and inquiries into the assassination, questions persist due to withheld or classified documents, leading to skepticism about the veracity of the official story. The failure to release certain documents and discrepancies in eyewitness accounts and forensic evidence continue to feed suspicions of a cover-up or larger conspiracy.

But one man says those conspiracies are nothing but tall tales, and maybe he should know – since he was there. You might not recognize the name Clint Hill, but if you have ever seen the Zapruder film, you saw Clint Hill. He was the secret service agent seen climbing onto the back of the presidential limo after Kennedy was shot as the limo was speeding away.

Unlike another secret service agent who changed their story about where he found the so-called “magic bullet,” Clint’s story has never changed. Now, at 92, he is one of the last eyewitnesses and is convinced Oswell acted alone.

Clint spoke last week on the “Way I Heard It” podcast with host Mike Rowe, famous for hosting Dirty Jobs. The subject of the podcast was the re-released of his 2013 book. Co-written with his wife, Lisa McCubbin Hill, the book “Five Days in November” was first released ten years ago on the 50th anniversary of the assassination.

Now, the book has been updated to include a chapter that Clint says debunks many of the conspiracies. In his interview with Rowe, Hill recounts one of the nation’s most trying times in the country’s recent past.

Those who still want to know more about the tragic event when America lost its innocence may wish to pick up a copy and find out what the last up-close eyewitness has to say about the tragedy as Hill lays out his arguments against all the conspiracy theories that have taken on a life of their own. And if you’re still not convinced to go and buy the book, maybe try giving the podcast a listen to see what Hill has to say.
