The journey of Dynamite Roasting began with a serendipitous meeting between Josh Gibbs and Andy Gibbon, who bonded over their shared love for music and coffee. Their passion for quality coffee led them to establish Dynamite Roasting in 2008, starting with a small batch roaster and a shared vision. Patrick Shaw, co-owner and General Manager recently noted the what really drives their success is their strong local partnerships. “Since 2020, we have continued to grow year after year, and we can certainly attribute much of this to our coffee subscription program, as well as our convenient availability in the local mini retail market: Ingles, Fresh Market, Whole Foods, and Target.

Central to Dynamite Roasting’s ethos is the focus on local community engagement. By serving their immediate community and ensuring swift delivery to wholesale customers in the southeastern region, Dynamite Roasting maintains the freshness of their coffee, akin to the difference between a ripe tomato and one shipped across miles.
