Waynesville – As the Pigeon Community Multicultural Development Center (PCMCDC) gears up to host their annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta, residents of Waynesville are invited to partake in an evening of vibrant celebrations. Scheduled for Friday, May 3, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 450 Pigeon Street, this event will showcase a fusion of Latin music, delectable cuisine, and engaging activities for all attendees.
The celebration will feature an array of attractions, including live music provided by DJ Avenger, who will be spinning an assortment of Latin tunes to enliven the dance floor. A highlight of the night is a raffle prize offering attendees the chance to win a selection of gift certificates to local Mexican eateries in Haywood County.
In addition to the music and raffle, guests can indulge in tantalizing treats such as tacos, Mexican street corn, and churros, while sipping on margaritas and beer for those aged 21 and above. Entertainment options abound, with a photo booth, outdoor games, and a welcoming atmosphere fostering community spirit and joy.
