Community Volunteers Wanted for Long Term Care Facilities

Asheville – Are you interested in making a positive impact on the lives of older adults residing in long-term care facilities? The Ombudsman Program at Land of Sky Regional Council Area Agency on Aging is seeking dedicated individuals to join their Community Advisory Committee as volunteers. As a committee member, you will serve as an advocate for residents in long-term care facilities, ensuring that their rights are respected and upheld.

Volunteers will receive comprehensive orientation training consisting of 36 hours to prepare them for their role. Individuals from Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania Counties are encouraged to apply.
