Burnsville – Mountain Piecemakers Quilt Guild will be meeting on Tuesday April 9 at 6:00 in the Burnsville Town Center. Business meeting will begin at 6:30 followed by the program “A Deep Dive Into Batiks” by Tammy Silvers of Tamarinis in Georgia. She is also a Brand Ambassador for Benartex Fabric. Tammy designs batiks for Island Batik! Tammy will tell more about the Batik process. The lecture is a combination of slide show, video, and actual batik making tools. Let’s explore the fascinating beautiful world of batiks together! The following day Tammy will present a workshop in the Town Center on one of her designs called “Juxtaposition.”
