Weaverville – Area residents resumed enjoying the Town of Weaverville’s Summer Music Series this past Saturday as the first of this year’s series with the group “Up Jumped Three” got underway. “Up Jumped Three” plays original compositions and “are a collection of varied influences – West Coast jazz, free jazz, & modern/avant-garde.” The series goes on the second Saturday of the month in the Weaverville Nature Park during the summer and is free to the public. Bring a blanket to lay on, a lawn chair, some food, and friends, and enjoy a cool afternoon breeze under the trees and some good music. Photo by Paul King.
