Ash Taylor: A Journey of Passion

Ash Taylor’s journey from Bakersfield, California, to Nashville is a testament to her dedication to music. Influenced by legends like Buck Owens and Loretta Lynn, she made the bold decision to leave everything behind and pursue her dreams in Music City. “Collaborating with local artists in the Asheville area for this event felt like a natural choice for me,” Ash said. “Asheville has such a vibrant, creative music community, and I wanted to tap into that energy.”

Her debut EP, Bakersfield, released in January 2019, reached #60 on the iTunes Top 100 Country Albums Chart. Since then, she has been recognized by the Bakersfield Country Music Awards and named “One to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Ash’s recent project, The Acoustic Sessions, released in May 2023, quickly became a fan favorite.

Andrew Wooten: A Rising Star

Andrew Wooten brings a fresh perspective to the stage with his blend of country sound and southern rock. Raised in Joanna, South Carolina, he draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists including Stevie Ray Vaughan and Tyler Childers. Andrew shared one of his favorite moments from performing: “One of my favorite moments was from September of 2023 when we opened for Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin & Collin Ray in front of about 1,200 people. During my set, there were a few people crying to some of my songs that had never even heard of me before.”

His music conveys a powerful message about perseverance and hope. “I hope through my music to convey a message that no matter where you come from or what you believe in, your past doesn’t determine your future,” he said. “If you just work hard at something, you can achieve it.”

Fancy & The Gentlemen: A Unique Sound

Hailing from Asheville, Fancy & The Gentlemen offer an eclectic mix of honky-tonk, blues, and southern gothic influences. Their rich harmonies and original compositions celebrate the roots of American southern music. The band’s commitment to artistry shines through in their performances, making them a perfect fit for this event.

A Community Celebration

The collaboration among these artists highlights the importance of community in the music scene. Ash expressed her excitement about sharing the stage with local talents: “I love the idea of supporting fellow musicians and giving them a platform to showcase their talent. It’s all about building connections and creating something special together that resonates with the audience on a deeper level.”

Performing in Asheville holds a special significance for Ash. “Asheville feels like a community that truly values live music, original songs, and artistic expression,” she said. “That connection makes every performance here feel more personal and meaningful.”
