Weaverville – The Weaverville Fire Department was awarded a $35,145 grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® to enhance its emergency response capabilities. This funding will be used to purchase a Zodiac Rescue Boat, complete with a motor, trailer, and accessories, aimed at improving swift water rescue operations in the region.
