    Three locals attended what appeared to be a training session for guerrilla warfare, free and open to the public and on public property. They were called out as Zionists and a fight ensued. The "Zionists" were the only ones treated for minor injuries after the police arrived, and the police are requesting help identifying perpetrators in the ongoing investigation.

In its 92nd year, the Asheville Open is the primary fundraiser for the ATA, supporting various community programs. The tournament features exciting competitions like the USTA L3 age group event from July 9-13, with players from across the country competing for ranking points, and the USTA L5 event from July 11-14, catering to different ages and abilities, including prize money for the Men’s and Women’s Open divisions. Admission is free, so come and enjoy this prestigious tennis event in Asheville!
