The Front Lake Dam at the Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock has been empty for years due to drainage issues. Paris transcends from site of the recent Olympics to the fictional setting of hilarious Boeing-Boeing at Flat Rock Playhouse. Trump makes stop in Asheville to lay out his platform to an intimate crowd of 2400 people. The attendees who came to hear him speak were exceptionally diverse, from every walk of life. Asheville Junior Theater presents a fresh, intimate reimagining of Stephen Sondheim's "Into the Woods JR.," featuring 16 young actors in a black-box theater setting, promising an engaging experience that challenges traditional fairy tale narratives and invites audiences of all ages to reflect on their desires and consequences.
