Paul Nizamian

– Paul Bryan Nizamian, 66, of Asheville, left this earthly temporal life to be with his family, who had gone on before him on October 22, 2020, in Douglas, Wyoming, after being involved in an auto accident.

Paul was born in Norfolk, Virginia, grew up in San Diego, California, and graduated from El Cajon High School before moving to the Asheville area in 1974. An avid hunting and gun enthusiast, Paul loved to pass on his knowledge gained from books and first-hand expertise in a column on guns, which he wrote for a short period in the local Asheville and Weaverville Tribune.

He was a life-long professional truck driver, a trade he learned from his uncle, Reginald Parker, who he drove with for several years. In the last few years, he switched from long hauling to regional trucking with the PTD Trucking in Haywood County.

Paul was proceeded in death by his parents, Jacob Paul Nizamian and Patsy Pell Parker Nizamian and his sister Sharon Henrietta Nizamian Stuart. He is survived by his sister, Molly Diane Eulenfeld and her husband Ernest R. Eulenfeld of Asheville, brother, Phillip Hampton Nizamian of San Diego, nephew Matt Raymond Cooly his wife Terra, and niece Sunny Marie Cooley, grand nieces Liliana Cooley, Madelyn Cooley, and grandnephews Tucker Cooley, Alex and Daniel Nizamian and a daughter Trishia Kirkland and her husband, Mike Kirkland, and two grandchildren Liberty Grace and Lincoln William. He is also survived by his uncle Harry Nizamian of San Fransisco, CA, and his aunt Kuitems Martha of New Jersey and Eugenia Pell of Cashiers, along with numerous cousins.
