Hendersonville – Tickets went on sale for Heritage Fire, a live-fire culinary event set to take place at The Horse Shoe Farm in Hendersonville on July 13, 2025. This all-inclusive experience promises attendees a unique opportunity to savor globally inspired dishes prepared by a lineup of local chefs and artisans, all while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of an open-air setting.
Local Chefs Showcase Culinary Skills
The event will feature an impressive roster of chefs, including Alex and Ashleigh Baxevanis from Feta Flav Greek Taverna, Benjamin Sullivan of Cranford Bros BBQ, and Brett Suess from The Silo Cookhouse at The Horse Shoe Farm. Each chef will grill heritage-breed proteins and heirloom vegetables sourced from the region’s top family farms. “We are excited to showcase the incredible talent in our local culinary scene,” said Suess. “Heritage Fire is a celebration of community and the flavors that define our region.”
Attendees can expect unlimited curated dishes, beverage pairings, and live entertainment throughout the event. After sampling the various offerings, guests will have the chance to vote for the “Best Bite of the Day,” with one chef being crowned as the Heritage Hero champion. “It’s not just about the food; it’s about the experience and connection with the chefs and farmers,” noted Valladares.
VIP Experience Enhances Event
For those looking for an elevated experience, VIP tickets are available, offering early access to the event along with a special welcome beverage. “The VIP experience allows guests to engage more closely with the chefs and enjoy a more intimate setting,” said Tory Bogin from Claywood. General admission ticket holders will also enjoy a diverse sampling of responsibly-raised heritage breeds cooked in live fire kitchens, complemented by beverages from local wineries.
Heritage Fire aims to educate consumers about honest food sourced directly from farms while providing a hands-on culinary experience. “We want people to understand where their food comes from and appreciate the hard work that goes into it,” said Mike Rednak of Indaco.
The event is organized by a21, a full-service event and marketing agency known for producing nationally recognized culinary events. “Heritage Fire is one of our flagship events, and we are thrilled to bring it to Asheville,” stated a21 representative Abigail Purvis.
